📱 Before You Begin
Welcome to the iTaouri Installation Guide! This step-by-step guide will help you download and install our Android applications safely and correctly.
Requirements: Android 5.0+ device, stable internet connection, at least 50MB free storage space, and permission to install apps from unknown sources.
Our apps are distributed as APK files through trusted platforms like Gumroad, Payhip, Amazon Appstore, and others. Follow the steps below for a smooth installation experience.
🔓 Step 1: Enable Unknown Sources
Since our apps are distributed outside the Google Play Store, you need to allow your device to install apps from other sources. Don't worry — this is completely safe when downloading from official iTaouri links.
For Android 8.0+ (Oreo and newer):

Go to Settings → Apps → Special Access → Install Unknown Apps

Select your browser (Chrome, Firefox, etc.) or file manager

Toggle "Allow from this source" to ON
For Android 7.0 and older:

Find "Unknown Sources" and toggle it ON

Tap OK on the warning dialog to confirm
💾 Step 2: Download the APK
After purchasing an app (or downloading a free one), you'll receive a download link via email or on the platform's download page.

Click the Download Link from your email or the platform's download page. The file will typically be named something like itaouri-appname-v1.0.apk

Wait for Download to Complete. You can check progress in your notification bar or browser's download manager.

Verify the Download. The file should be in your Downloads folder. Check that the file size matches what's listed on the app page.
💡 Pro Tip: Always download from the official link provided in your purchase confirmation email. Never download APK files from unofficial websites or forums to avoid malware.
⚙️ Step 3: Install the App
Once the APK is downloaded, it's time to install it on your device.

Open the APK File. Tap on the downloaded file from your notification bar, or open your File Manager → Downloads folder and tap the APK file.

Review Permissions. The installer will show what permissions the app needs. Review them carefully — our apps only request permissions essential for functionality.

Tap "Install" and wait for the installation to complete. This usually takes 10-30 seconds depending on the app size.

Tap "Open" to launch the app immediately, or "Done" to finish and open it later from your app drawer.
🔄 Step 4: Updating Your Apps
When a new version is available, you'll receive an email notification with an updated download link.

Download the New APK using the updated link from the email.

Install Over Existing App. Simply open the new APK file — it will automatically update your existing installation without deleting your data or settings.

Verify the Update. Open the app and check the version number in Settings → About to confirm you're on the latest version.
✅ Good to Know: Your app data, settings, and preferences are preserved during updates. You won't lose any saved content.
🛡️ Security & Safety Tips
- Download Only from Official Sources: Always use the download link from your purchase confirmation email or our official website (itaouri.com).
- Check File Size: Compare the downloaded file size with the size listed on the app page. Significant differences may indicate a corrupted download.
- Scan with Antivirus: If you have an antivirus app installed, it's good practice to scan the APK before installation.
- Keep "Unknown Sources" Managed: After installation, you can disable "Unknown Sources" if you prefer, but you'll need to re-enable it for future updates.
- Check App Permissions: Our apps only request necessary permissions. If an app asks for suspicious permissions (like SMS access for a calculator app), contact us immediately.
❓ Common Issues
"App not installed" error?
This usually happens if: (1) You don't have enough storage space — free up some space and try again. (2) A previous version is conflicting — uninstall the old version first, then reinstall. (3) The APK file is corrupted — re-download the file.
"Blocked by Play Protect" warning?
Google Play Protect may show a warning for apps outside the Play Store. Tap "More details" → "Install anyway" to proceed. Our apps are completely safe and regularly scanned for malware.
Download link expired?
Some platforms have download link expiration (usually 30 days). If your link expired, contact us at
support@itaouri.com with your order details and we'll send a fresh link.
